WINTER-PROOF WARDROBE - NORWAY EDITION

As the temperatures have risen in London recently, all I can think about is pastel pinks, frilly blouses and a full on Spring/Summer rooftop vibe. However, many are only just about to experience their first snow of the year at one of the skiing resorts across Europe. In fact, skiing season in major resorts like Austria, Switzerland and France doesn't end until beginning of April - that's almost two months of snowboarding, skiing, sledging or simply alcohol-in-a-chalet-drinking. So if you are planning to take a trip to one of the above destination, or any other destination where temperature goes below zero, keep reading for an overview of "winter proof" clothing...

Postcards From Aruba

Thanks to the famous flamingo photos all over the Internet, Aruba has been one of the hottest destinations this year, proving once again advertising powers of Instagram. As you might be well aware by now, I have had the chance to visit this magical place this autumn. It is an absolute paradise full of pastel coloured houses and soft sandy beaches and in today’s post I wanted to share a few snaps with you that didn’t make it onto any of my social media as well as do a quick recap of the trip…

Flamingo Beach - Aruba

Renaissance Private Island, or more commonly known as the Flamingo Beach, has been an absolute favourite amongst "Instagramable Destinations" category and has encouraged many of us to make quick adjustments to our bucket lists and put Aruba right at the top of them. I, of course was no exception to the flamingo craze, and have booked my flight to Aruba as soon as I could afford it. And whilst the beauty of it all is absolutely undeniable, is it really worth your money?

TRAVEL GUIDE TO KIEV

There is no doubt that traveling is one of the most educational, eye-opening and enjoyable things a human being can do. Tasting new dishes, seeing new sights and experiencing different cultures and religions helps to shape us into openminded individuals that are not scared to live their lives side-by-side with those who might differ from them in one way or another. And traveling to places like Kiev, shows just how much you can learn, as a country that's perceived by western media as "poor" and "war-torn" is, in fact, a beautiful destination full off culture, incredible architecture and the most breathtaking nature...

Paris P2

I am absolutely in love with this beautiful top from Missguided. I did wonder if it was going to be a little bit too much, but I went for it regardless. It sure did turn heads lol.

Paris P1.

Fountain showers and ice-cream in Tuileries Gardens in 30C heat... Sounds like a perfect city break to me. My third time in Paris was just as magical as my first and second time, as this city can never get 'old' or 'boring'. On top of that, it was so good to escape rainy and cold London. (Why does it always rain??).

Not that I haven't had enough sunshine this summer...I have travelled so much and so grateful for all the magical places that I have seen, however I'm annoyed that I was 'too busy' to capture it all on my blog! Anyways, if you wanna see more, check out my Instagram.

This look is so simple and casual, absolutely perfect for a busy day in a busy city. Thin blouse and short denim shorts are perfect for extreme summer temperatures. So, I wanted to write this quick post as an intro to my Parisian adventures, however look out for the next one, where I'll give you some awesome tips on things to do and places to go to.

Christmas in Budapest

So last week I travelled to Budapest. I had no particular expectations and medium levels of excitement before my trip, however I returned back home with overwhelming emotions and warmest memories. The city was so incredibly beautiful, clean and full of Christmas spirit. I am not even going to try and write about every place I have visited, but I will tell you that if you do go, you will be spoilt for choice.

Beautiful and luxurious restaurants that we went to were, no doubt, very lovely, but Christmas markets stole my heart. Traditional street food, festive music, bright lights, millions of different types of mulled wine... Everything made me feel so happy and warm inside, despite the freezing temperatures on the outside :).

I tried to capture my outfits in the usual street-style matter, but it is literally so boring to concentrate on outfit pictures when you are surrounded by all this beauty! In this post I have only a few shots of what I am wearing, as I wanted to show you the city instead. I tried to keep as warm as possible, as it was absolutely freezing outside, so don't let the shirt fool you, I've had a full thermal set underneath haha! And in one of the pictures you can even see my leggings  peeking from underneath my skirt haha! Whoops... talking about wardrobe malfunction.

Haha yep, here it is, the legging shot. In ideal world, I would have preferred to wear a different pair of shoes with this outfit, but as we did hours and hours of walking around, those were a more comfortable alternative for the day. I also love this sleeveless sweater that I have found in Primark just a day before I travelled. I can see getting a lot of use out of it this winter.

Oh and, who says you have to go to New York to ride a yellow taxi? :D

Have a look at the last two pictures. That's another thing about this city, is it so good at going from day-time to night-time. Same place, two different stories, but both just as magical.

Part Two

When it comes to my blog, I am not a woman of many words. But when it comes to Paris, I have too many!

Second trip surprised me with amazing weather in the middle of February.
It was such a pleasure to stroll down the beautify built streets and soak up winter sunshine.
The character that the city has is absolutely incredible. Its a mixture or romance and beauty, fashion and class. Those of you who have been before, will understand what I am trying to say.

Of course I have planned every single outfit before I came and really did feel a little bit like Carry Bradshaw (except for the part where she's feeling lonely). :D

I have only managed to picture one of the outfits, as we was too busy running around the city, trying to see all of the landmarks and taste all of the traditional dishes.

Unfortunately I've been having problems with the blog and picture upload. It kills the quality dramatically and I feel so gutted that you don't get to see the amazing quality that I see on my screen before the upload.

If any of you have any tips on how I can solve the problem, please do share :)
